Part of my work as a maggid (see the “Digital Maggid” page for more on that), is producing videos for Nistar Yeshiva. (For more on Nistar Yeshiva, see the “Nistar” page, coming soon.)
The videos comprise a series of short teachings by the founder of Nistar Community, Rabbi Avram Davis. Most of them are teachings on the Parsha (the specific part of the Torah we read during any given week), and are named for their respective Parshas. A few are on other topics, as indicated in their respective titles.
As we continue to make new videos, I hope to incorporate them into the weekly blog posts. For now, here’s a couple from those we’ve already done, and you can check out the entire archive on the Nistar Yeshiva YouTube Channel.
Here are a few of our earlier efforts. We’ve gotten better at it since these were done — from a technical standpoint at least, but the teachings themselves are still very good, and well worth watching. They are a good introduction to what our lineage is seeking to give over, and why we feel it is so necessary to make these teachings accessible.
More to come, G-d willing.
