Devarim 17: 14 & 15
וְאָמַרְתָּ אָשִׂימָה עָלַי מֶלֶךְ
v’amarta asimah alai melech
and you say, ‘I will set a king over myself,’
אז די אידען וועלן ארונטערנידערען צו אזא מדרגה פון פאָדערען איבער זיך א מושל, א הערשער — שום תישם עליהם מלך. ר’ משה’לע קאזשעניצער)

שׂוֹם תָּשִׂים עָלֶיךָ מֶלֶךְ
som tasim aleicha melech
you shall set a king over you
